cowhide is fine, if you get a VM-II, expect a 8month wait for one.

Are you getting one for the M&P9FS?

I got lucky with my VMII for my 1911, and found one with an online vendor. Goodluck finding one. You can try browsing on a forum.

^Getting one for the M&P9... 8 month wait, ouch, anything else which is a good IWB holster without that much of a wait

Oh, I feel a trip to gander mountain currently while I have off work today is in store!

There are many options for IWB holsters. It comes down to personal preferences. And they're all have different comfort level to different people.

You can try to contact these guys and see if they have a leather holster for your M&P.

Should be getting my Raven Phantom kydex holster for the M&P this week. And will set it up as an IWB holster. I'll give feed back once I try it out.

^Thankyou very much for the info and that will be great!

I put another 150 rounds down range today with the M&P9 absolutely flawlessly. I put 100 more geco through it which I use for target shooting. I absolutely love the stuff. Feeds awesome, feels real consistent and some of my groupings prove that, and not messy. I also put 50 double tap +p hollow points which I am using for concealed today and they feed great as well and I shoot great with them. I think I may just keep them for concealed. I guess a lucky first try!

Oh, and a successful trip to gander mountain today. I ended up buying some more ammunition and a new Mossberg 535 tactical 12 guage. I can`t wait to play with that a little. The main reason for this is home defense.

And Don, before you say it, yes I`m a crackhead

^Shit, I never found that site and I was looking for a while. I think whenever I want to buy something, I am going to go to you for where to!

We need to go to some gun shows so you can teach me some things!

Well I`m not home for another 6 weeks. And then I leave to go back to school 3 weeks after that so I`m not thinking the rest of this summer will happen anyways!

I am going to the litchfield flea market Sunday. A guy i know said that each week he goes there are many cheaply priced guns. Basically its a hillbilly mall. Any thing i should look for other than the basic actions? If the trigger pulls smooth and i hear the pin- is there still a chance it wouldn't fire?

Anybody use gunbroker.com? Might be getting a AR-15 or Sig 556 and they have some on there for a decent price from time to time.

Haven't used it yet. Are you just looking for a basic carbine AR-15?

Well gentlemen, I`m back. Went shooting today. Shot the 12 gauge, my air force condor and my m&p9. Fun day. Went to Sherwin shooting sports for the range. It became too warm inside there though after others came in.
